We suggest arriving a few minutes early for childcare check-in and to grab a cup of coffee at the Capital Café. 15-20 minutes will be plenty of time! Children's programs are available for infants - elementary ages during all services.
Sundays 8:30, 9:45 & 11:00am.
At Capital City we love the Bible. We believe that the teachings found in the Bible can make your life better. Our teaching at Capital City is Jesus centered, Bible based, and relevant to our culture. We believe the Bible is the "Good News" and our teaching reflects that.
Whether you know a lot about the Bible or are brand new to it, each week we desire to communicate a clear, uplifting, and practical message that will help you on your journey in life.
At Capital City, we believe we have the great privilege to join with all of creation, worshiping our King and Lord, Jesus.
Our goal is to bring God's people into an authentic environment of heartfelt worship.
One of the ways we do this is through music.
We have a contemporary style with several musicians and singers rotating each Sunday. Our song selection is based off the current series and whatever is encouraging and relevant to our culture today.
At Capital City we believe growth in our faith happens when we consistently DISCOVER who God is, CULTIVATE change in our lives through God's word in small group environments, and SERVE others in the name of Jesus.
Group Life is a great opportunity to get out of the rows we sit in on Sundays and into circles with small groups of people. It is a place to build community, share life, and be encouraged in our walk with Jesus. We have many kinds of groups that meet throughout the week.
Capital City Students are Middle School and High School students. To learn more about our group click the church life tab above then select the students option. This will have information about everything that has to do with Middle School or High School student ministries at Capital City Christian Church.
KIDS ARE PEOPLE TOO!
Sometimes adults forget that kids are people too. Jesus didn't! He said, "Bring the little people to me and don't ever get in their way!" That's the first step in every person's spiritual growth process - to learn to just run to Him.
So, at Capital City our staff and volunteers ARE the first element of our curriculum. Through their care, acceptance, play and teaching, kids begin to believe in the compelling love of Jesus.
