The Goal of discipleship
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him. - Matthew 4:18-20
Our students are called into a life of discipleship. As disciples of Jesus, we learn to become like Him and love like Him. At City Students, we teach our students to experience a relationship with Jesus that sanctifies them. As they become more like Christ, they are equipped to become Christian leaders in their community.

High School: Grades 9 - 12
City Students is here to provide high schoolers with a biblical community. They can join in with our Sunday morning Bible Study, Wednesday night youth group, or a special event. As they connect with our church community, they will discover several different avenues for spiritual growth as they deepen their relationship with Jesus.
High schoolers are also given the opportunity to lead within the church. They can join a Wednesday night service team within City Students, or volunteer their time at Capital City Christian Church on the weekends. Our students are incredibly talented, and we want these talents to be utilized and recognized.

MIDDLE School: Grades 6 - 8
City Students is here to provide middle schoolers with the foundations of faith and formative Christian friendships. They can join in with our weekend Bible Studies, Wednesday night youth group, or a special event. As they attend City Students, our middle schoolers are led to live a life that reflects their love for Jesus.
Middle schoolers are also equipped to begin leading within the church. They can join a Wednesday night service team within City Students, or volunteer their time at Capital City Christian Church on the weekends. They will receive support and guidance as they choose to serve the youth group or the church.
